About

Built by two engineers, proven by how the money moves

Donorframe is built, set up, and supported by a small, hands-on team, not a sales department, not a support queue. That's not something you have to take on faith: every gift and ticket is charged on your own Stripe account, never ours, so nothing about trusting Donorframe means trusting a stranger with your donors' money.

Why it exists

Nonprofits don’t need more tools. They need fewer.

The pattern is the same almost everywhere: a website on one platform, a donate button that hands people off to another, an event on a ticketing site, a merch store somewhere else. Four logins, four sets of fees, four places a donor’s name lives, and a staff member spending Friday afternoon reconciling them.

It should be one thing

Pages, events, donations, and merch that share a dashboard, a donor record, a set of receipts, and a domain, so a supporter who buys a ticket, gives monthly, and orders a t-shirt is one person in your records, not three strangers.

Nothing between you and your donations

Every gift and ticket is charged on the organization’s own Stripe account and lands in its own bank. Donorframe adds its fee on top, shows it to the donor before they pay, and never holds the funds.

Set up with you, not left to you

Small nonprofits end up with the four-tool tangle because every self-serve platform leaves them alone with a blank template. Donorframe is set up with each organization, by the people who built it, slower than a signup button, and far more likely to end in a site you’re proud of.

Working with Donorframe

What an early partner actually gets

Donorframe is deliberately taking on a small number of organizations right now, one at a time. That is a choice about quality, not a limitation to apologize for, and it changes what the relationship looks like compared with a platform that has ten thousand customers and a ticket queue.

Direct access to the people who built it

Donorframe is built by two engineers with a combined 35+ years in nonprofit and fundraising software. The people who set up your site are the same two who built the platform and answer your email. A request does not go into a queue, it goes to someone who can change the software, and often does.

Your money is never dependent on us

Every gift and ticket is charged on your own Stripe account. Donorframe never holds funds, so your donations sit with Stripe and your bank regardless of anything that happens to Donorframe. That is the same architecture the largest platforms use, and the reason it matters is the same at any size.

Built to last, not to demo

Per-organization data isolation, an audit trail of every change, queued and monitored jobs, daily backups, automated tests against real Stripe: the engineering practices of a platform that expects to be trusted with donor data for years.

A voice in what comes next

Your rate is set around your organization rather than picked off a tier list, and the roadmap is shaped by what early partners actually need. You get a platform that fits you unusually well, in exchange for being part of the conversation as it grows.

If that sounds like the kind of relationship your nonprofit wants with its software, get in touch. Who it’s for is candid about the fit either way.

Is our donor data safe over the long term?

Per-organization data isolation, an audit trail of every change, and daily backups: the engineering practices of a platform built to be trusted with donor data for years, not a demo.

Does Donorframe ever hold our money?

No. Every gift and ticket is charged on your own Stripe account and lands in your own bank. Donorframe adds its fee on top and never holds the funds.

Talk to the people who built it

Not a sales team: the engineers. A short note about your organization is plenty to start.
